Finding and picking a padel court near me
20 October 2026 · @ImPeteris
Type "padel courts near me" into Google and you get a map full of pins. In a lot of cities there is more than one club within reach, and the closest is not always the one you keep going back to. Here is where to look and what to check, with examples from clubs in our directory. Padel is also called padel tennis, so search for both.
How to find padel courts near me
- Our directory. Padel courts lists clubs by country and city, with their features and the prices each club publishes. Start with your country: the UK, Spain or Sweden.
- Booking apps. Playtomic, MATCHi and Padel Mates show courts around you with free slots. Each club books through one app, so check which before you download.
- Google Maps. Search "padel near me" to see the pins. Then open the club's own site for prices and opening hours.
Location: how far, parking and public transport
Near or far
The best padel court near me is the one I actually get to. A court 15 minutes away fits in before work or after dinner. One 45 minutes away turns into a monthly trip. Check the travel time at the hour you play, not at midday.
Parking
Padel halls need a lot of space. So many sit on the edge of town or in industrial areas, with room for cars. Sporting Club Ostiense in Rome has 1,500 free spaces. Padel Factory Berlin has 25 free spaces and 60 more at €1 an hour.
Central clubs are harder to park at, so look for deals. NK Padel & Social by ASCARO sits on top of the NK Parkaden garage in central Stockholm, and every booking includes 3 hours of free parking there.
Public transport
Going by train or metro? Check the walk from the station with a racket bag on your back. Padel Berlin is a short walk from S-Bahn Ostkreuz. Bola Padel Club in Rome is 10 minutes on foot from Marconi on Metro B. Padel Islands in Dubai is near DMCC metro station.
The basics: price, availability and number of courts
Price
You book the whole court, usually for 60 or 90 minutes, and split it four ways. The time slot changes the price a lot. At Padel Islands an hour costs AED 200 between 11am and 4pm, and AED 350 from 4pm to midnight. At Padel Factory Berlin a doubles court is €30 an hour off-peak and €40 at peak, so €7.50 to €10 each.
A membership pays off if you play every week. UK Padel members play from £5 per player per hour, while four non-members pay £50 an hour for a peak covered court at UK Padel Holmer Green. For prices by country, see what it costs to play padel.
Availability
A cheap club is no use if you never get a court. Evenings and weekends go first, and members often book further ahead: 21 days against 7 for non-members at UK Padel, 14 against 7 at Rocket Padel. Read the cancellation rules too. At Padel Haus in New York, non-members must cancel 48 hours ahead or pay the full fee.
Quick test: open the booking app a week before your usual slot and see what is still free.
Number of courts
More courts means more free slots and more players at your level. Padelverket in Haninge, south of Stockholm, has 12 indoor courts. Padel Factory Berlin has 13 across two halls. A small club like Ático Pádel Club in Malaga, with three outdoor courts, feels more personal, but peak slots may be harder to get. Indoor courts keep you playing through rain, winter and summer heat.
Searching for a singles padel court near me? They are rare, so filter for them. UK Padel Newquay, Padelverket and Padel Factory Berlin have two each.
Community: people to play with
Most padel is doubles, so you need three other players every time. A club's community matters as much as its courts. Look for:
- Open matches by level. Bola Padel Club runs its own Play! system for this, and the booking apps do it too.
- Americanos and social nights. UK Padel Newquay runs Americanos on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Padel & Pints on Fridays.
- Leagues. The good ones fill up. Padel Royale in Stockholm lists a wait of at least 12 months for its men's league.
- Help for beginners, like the trial session and level assessment at Clube de Padel in Lisbon.
Extras: kids, pets, gym and bar
- Kids. Look for junior coaching and kids' courts. Padel Factory Berlin has a kids' court and holiday camps. ULTRA Padel Magic City in Miami has two kids' courts. Finura Padel & Gym in Malaga teaches minipadel.
- Pets. Few of the clubs we list mention dogs at all. Bola Padel Club in Rome has a dog area. Anywhere else, ask before you bring yours.
- Gym. Finura pairs padel with a gym and Pilates, and Bali Social Club has a gym and a recovery area.
- Bar and food. For a lot of players the drink after the match is half the point. Pádel Málaga Indoor has a cafe-restaurant of about 400 m², and Ocean Padel Club Luz in Lagos has a restaurant, a terrace bar and a pool. NK Padel & Social's rooftop bar closes for winter, so check the season.

How much does it cost to book a padel court?
At the European clubs we list, a court costs about €25 to €60 an hour, so €6 to €15 each when four of you split it. The time slot moves the price, so check the hour you want. In Spain courts are often cheaper, at around €15 to €25 an hour.
