Padel courts FAQ
How do I book a padel court?
Pick your country and city above, open a club and press Visit website. Booking happens on the club's own site or in the app it uses, often Playtomic or MATCHi.
How many players do I need for padel?
Padel is almost always played as doubles, two against two, so you need four players. Some clubs also have narrower singles courts for one against one.
How big is a padel court?
A padel court is 20 metres long and 10 metres wide, split by a net and enclosed by glass walls and metal mesh. The ball can be played off the walls, which is what makes padel different from tennis.
Should I play indoors or outdoors?
Both work. Indoor courts let you play in rain, heat or winter, while outdoor courts are common in warmer countries and in summer. Each club's page and website show what it offers.
Do I need my own racket?
Not to start. Many clubs rent rackets and sell balls at the desk, so check with the club when you book. Once you play regularly, your own racket makes a big difference.
